CPCCWHS2001 Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
This course applies to workers in the construction industry. It covers fundamental WHS requirements necessary to undertake work tasks within any sector in the construction industry. It is now a mandatory requirement for all trainers who deliver the White Card Course (CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) to hold this particular unit.
Through video evidence, students are required to demonstrate the performance of work in a safe manner through awareness of risks and work requirements, and the planning and performance of safe work practices with concern for personal safety and the safety of others. You are also required to perform emergency first aid treatment of minor injuries.
This course is Self Paced – It is expected students may complete the course within 4.5 hours (depending on experience levels)

You will need a USI to enrol in this course.
Please note that all case studies and scenarios within this course are fictional. As a wide variety of job descriptions and workplace environments exist, case studies may not always cover all types of possible scenarios encountered within your job role or scope of work.
- Complete a risk assessment and upload a video outlining the hazards identified and the control measures to be implemented
- Conduct a risk assessment and upload a video to demonstrate safe work practices
- Provide emergency first aid treatment for a minor injury
- Two (2) Risk Assessment forms
- One (1) Incident Report form
Please allow a minimum of 3 business days where all course requirements have been successfully met for a statement of attainment to be issued.
